Trump and Shelton will bring a return to the Gold Standard

On the 2nd of july 2019, something big happened. Something that barely got any attention, and if it got it was purely spun as something negative.

I am pleased to announce that it is my intention to nominate Judy Shelton, Ph. D., U.S. Executive Dir, European Bank of Reconstruction & Development to be on the board of the Federal Reserve....

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 2, 2019

After two of his other picks (Stephen Moore and Herman Cain) withdrew under pressure, Trump nominated another proponent of a return to the gold standard to the Fed board.

That is three subsequent picks in favor of the Bretton Woods system, where the dollar is pegged to the value of gold. The president himself never hid being in favor of returning to the gold standard:

And of course the only coverage one can find on this matter, is CNBC, CNN and the likes calling this foolish and a terrible idea. Now, we already know we shouldn't take financial advice from the MSM and they automatically call everything Trump does a bad idea. Don't forget, these are the 'journalists' that think illegal immigration is fine, sanctuary cities are a blessing and pedophilia is merely a sexual preference.

Going back to the gold standard will be one of the gifts we expect Trump do deliver on in his second term. And we are ready for it.
